Frequently Asked Questions

One Place For All Your Questions

FOR SHOPPERS

Payment Methods at the Market:

Each of our vendors operates as an independent business, and as such, payment options can vary. However, most vendors are equipped to accept a range of payment methods including cash, credit cards, and digital payments through platforms like Venmo or PayPal.

Bringing Your Furry Friends:

Yes, dogs are allowed at the market! Since our event is held on public grounds, your four-legged companions are more than welcome. We do ask that you be considerate of vendor spaces and responsible for cleaning up after your furry friends to maintain a pleasant environment for everyone.

Market Operations During Adverse Weather:

Our goal is to keep the market open whenever possible, prioritizing the safety and benefit of our vendors and visitors. In case of rainy forecasts, please check our Facebook page for any updates or changes. We strive to make informed decisions that best serve our community's needs.

FOR VENDORS

What We're Looking For

Honestly? A great attitude goes a long way. We want vendors who are friendly, respectful, and genuinely excited to share what they do with our community. Whether you're joining us for one Saturday or the whole season, we're happy to have you.

You'll also need a certificate of insurance listing the Grimes Farmers and Community Market as an additional insured—don't worry, it's usually quick and affordable to get. If you need help figuring that out, just ask!

Your Space

Each vendor gets a 10x10 foot space to make their own. Set it up however works best for you. We don't provide tents or tables, but we do offer rentals if you need them—check out our Vendor Information page for details. One heads-up: we have limited space for electricity, so plan accordingly.

Young Entrepreneurs Welcome

There's no minimum age to be a vendor here. We love seeing kids and teens get started, whether they're selling homemade crafts, baked goods, or something totally unique. Minors just need a parent or guardian with them.

Book One Week or Several—It's Up to You

The successof our market is due to both of our full season and revolving vendors. That said, pick what works best for you, go for it! Grab the spots that work for your schedule.

Questions? Let's Talk

We've been in your shoes—figuring out insurance, setting up a booth for the first time, all of it. If you have questions or just want to talk things through, we'd love to hear from you. Give us a call or schedule a chat. No pressure, just support.
